From competitive league tennis to the ever-popular and fun Friday evening
socials.

Tyson’s
Cup League Play
Tyson’s Cup League play will begin at the end of April. This league includes
a Monday evening women’s team, a Wednesday evening men’s team,
and a Friday evening mixed doubles’ team. A $15 fee allows you to play
on either the men’s or women’s team as well as the mixed doubles team.

Northern
Virginia Tennis League (NVTL)
For the ladies, there will be B1 and C1 level NVTL teams
coached by our tennis pro. The B1 team will practice at 9 AM on
Fridays and have matches on Thursday mornings. The C1 team will
practice at 10:30 AM on Fridays and have matches on Tuesday mornings.
Practices begin on April 17th and continue for ten weeks for a fee of $50.
Matches begin the second week of May. For the men, there will also be
a B level NVTL team that plays matches on Saturday mornings, beginning May
4th.

Intramural
Play
There are also opportunities for intramural play
beginning in May. The men have an intramural tennis league of B/C
players who play matches on Saturday mornings from 8 until 10 AM. A second
intramural league plays A/B level matches on Sunday mornings from 8 to
10 AM. Women have two courts reserved on Thursday evenings from 7 to 10 PM
and one court reserved on Sunday mornings from 8 to 10 AM.

Friday
Evening Socials
Mixed doubles social evenings are scheduled on Friday evenings from 7:00 PM
until dark, starting in early July (once Tyson’s Cup league play has ended).
Friday evening socials are loosely organized,
week-to-week events and “drop-ins” are welcome. Bring a snack or beverage to
share.
